The smell of backyard barbecues is in the air, and all I can think about is those dark years when our forefathers fought the American Revolution to ensure our freedom... yeah... about that. Today as you celebrate your countries day of independence, I'm not going to ask you to think about the revolutionary war those Patriots fought over 200 years ago, I'm just going to ask that you consider it.
Now, most of you are probably thinking, "What happened to Stocker? Was he hit by a baseball bat while crossing a park on the way to a library?" Nope. I was hit with something else, insight! That's right, insight into your futures (more on this later)! Now, there is no time to waste. Instead of thinking about the Revolutionary War, I want you to think about when you believe the next major revolution (in which major physical force will be used) will occur, and what the cause of the revolution will be. There, now I feel better about what I have accomplished on this most patriotic of days. But seriously, think about it and post a comment. If you don't, your freedom may magically disappear. I don't know, freedom of expression, press, speech... any of these ring a bell? O.K., so sue me for trying to teach on a national holiday!
